Well,

It’s been a while but a lot has been going on here. With both my great grandmother and my mamaw being sick, my papaw had to have surgery this morning. He’s doing good and resting. It’s been a very long 2 weeks. One thing after another has happened but I’m glad I can say I’m still blessed. My great grandmother Mary is pretty much the same. But each day is another blessing to have her. Please keep praying for her!

As if I didn’t have enough stress on me already….I GOT A NEW DOG! Her name is Gabriella Carmella Cox. Here is a pic:

She’s beautiful but she is a puppy and hmm she’s very rambunctious. She is a Yorkiepoo. She was kind of expensive but that’s what dads are for right? LOL. My dad got her for me. We didn’t think that she and my cat Isabella were going to be able to make it together but they are doing fine now. Monday night when we brought her home was a nightmare, lots of barking and hissing. But things have gotten better now and they are almost friends. Now we face the difficulty of house breaking her. It’s tough…and gross.

If you can, come see us this weekend in Archdale or Trinity, NC she WILL BE with me! She’s riding the jAYCee trail this week so come out and say hey to my new pup!

So anyways, this is has been a wild ride the past two weeks have. Thankful for all the prayers and support. God is faithful. I’m looking forward to this weekend.

My very, very good friend Sherri is going to be with me this weekend. She was part of New Generation Survived and Standing Brave tour. She toured with us about all summer of 06. She was a great help and it’s going to be an AWESOME reunion for us!  I’m very excited to see her and her family! I love you Sherri!!

Update on Mamaw!

I just wanted to thank everyone who has sent in e-mails, comments, phone calls etc. about my great grandmother! I got a ton of encouraging e-mails on MySpace. We have felt the love and prayers coming from everyone and we really appreciate everything!

Update on Mamaw Mary. She is improving alittle but with all that happened this week we never know what could happen next. She told me yesterday that she stayed awake all night praying to the Lord. It really touched me and mom. She’s amazing. Such a fighter! They are having to put a feeding tube in today because she keeps aspirating but she’s had made major improvements and I know that all because of faithful believers that have been praying! God is awesome.

Please pray for my grandmother. They have moved her to hospice. This is going to be a very hard time for our family. Please pray for us and her. Her name is Mary.

New Years Eve

Happy New Years Eve!

Well 2008 is almost over and 2009 is almost HERE!! Tonight is gonna be so cool. The girls and I are getting together with a few friends at my house then we’ll head out for alittle bit and come back home to bring in the New Year with my mom and dad.

At some point tonight we all will bring things from our past, mainly things that happened during 2008 and we’re gonna throw ‘em all in a big ole fire! Pictures, books, letters, etc anything that we don’t want attached to us during 2009. I’ve got a bunch of stuff from the past several years that I’ve been holding on to. Not sure why, but I just never throw away some stuff but at some point tonight it’ll be history! It’s important to not let things in our past hold us down, keep us from our future. Don’t get me wrong, be thankful for the things that 08 brought you through (good & bad). Learn from it, grow from it!

Then Get Ready! It’s time to look ahead at what the New Year will bring. Wishin’ all of you an amazing New Year!
