Sooo…. my brother got married right? Well they started playing Michael Jackson and I kinda danced all up and around his wife we had a good time! enjoy! lol

My weekend…

Well Thursday night I had an AWESOME BBQ at my house. A bunch of my friends came over that I hadn’t seen in a while, so it was great to catch up. JONATHAN COX (that’s me) grilled all the food and fixed everything! I was pretty proud of myself and everyone said the food was great! Even gave some recipes out for my famous Grilled Chicken! : ) lol

I had Dad start a fire in the fire pit so as it got dark we could roast marshmallows and stuff. Well, the fire started going out and I was a little pushed for time (my ADD was really was kicking in is what the real problem was.) Soooo I crammed a TON of cardboard in it and just walked off… well I heard a a scream about 1 min later…”JOOOOON, THE HOUSE IS ON FIRE!” Sooo I started laughing thinking my friend was just being crazy and hmm I turned around and a flame of fire about 4 or 5 feet tall is pretty much shooting out the top of the fire pit…. lucky the house actually didn’t catch fire but hmm it most certainly almost did.

My buddy Ray and I played some songs we wrote together over the past month or so, Morgan and I even sang some too. It all around was just a great great night! I love hanging out with my friends in a real chill atmosphere, so I had a blast!! Thanks to everyone for coming over and I’ll post pics from it here in a bit so y’all can see!!

Friday – my brother Josh and his new wife Brandi had their wedding rehearsal Friday… btw they had a outdoor wedding… an outdoor 92 degree, hot, in a solid black tuxedo, wedding… UGH! The rehearsal went great! The food was bangin’ and everything went perfect!

Saturday – Saturday morning I woke up and realized that my big brother was no longer a kid, teenager, or young man…he was a full grown man now and in just a few hours he would take the first step to having his own family. I dont really cry alot…but I fought back tears all day long. My brother and I have almost 6 years apart. So growing up, we’ve always been very different. But now both of our lives have sorta made us grow up super fast and now we’re closer than we’ve ever been. I love him… I miss him alot. Now we’re nearly 10 hours away from each other but I know if i ever needed him he’d be there in ahh 10 hours lol.

Josh looked so happy all day. When Brandi started walked down the aisle I looked at Josh and that look on his face was incredible. You could just tell he loved that girl with everything in him. Josh is a good guy… he’s been through alot but he’s finally made it. Little nerd works for freakin Duke….I guess he’ll be fine lol.

All and all my weekend in NC was amazing. My family is simply beyond incredible and I love em.
